In 2016, surprising everyone, Americans elected Donald Trump as President of the United States. President Trump promised to 'drain the swamp', repeal and replace Obama Care and enact policies plus pass a budget which will return jobs to Americans. Unfortunately, unless there is a dramatic change in Congress' politics as normal, middle class Americans will see their way of life continue to deteriorate. Members of Congress spout off with their noble sounding but meaningless speeches in an effort to not offend their financial supporters while sounding like they are putting the best interests of America first. --> America can not continue functioning under the 'Golden Rule': The people with the gold make the rules! --> Americans, by putting aside their political ideology and unite to either convince their elected representatives to begin working for middle class Americans, and if they don't, simply replace them in the next election. --> Elected representatives can no longer act like 'Lemmings' blindly following political party leaders; leading America off the 'cliff' into irrelevance. --> Jobs cannot be created without a strong American economy. A strong American economy cannot be sustained without secure, stable, reliable and affordable energy. --> Furthermore, a strong American economy will allow the development of technology required to monitor and control atmospheric carbon to prevent global warming or climate change which could make Earth extremely uncomfortable for human life. --> Efforts to reduce current and future carbon emissions in an effort to combat climate change are futile, doing nothing to stop or deter today's global warming. The fact is: There is currently, more than enough carbon in Earth’s atmosphere to induce global climate change. As a matter of fact, right now the atmospheric carbon levels are greater than at any time in the last 800,000 years! --> What can Americans do? Make every elected official commit to an energy policy which will make America once again prosperous with a strong middle class. Without a strong America, the World as we know it, will cease to exist.
