Call us  SOS/FAN was published in 2013, after more than a decade of research. When SOS/FAN was first published, the author was told it would be at least 10 years before it 'took off'. If America is to survive global warming, Americans must understand America's energy options plus America's environmental obligations; then cast their votes accordingly. When it comes to America's energy needs, Voters must put aside their political ideologies. ------------------------------------------------ IF AMERICA IS TO SUCCESSFULLY CONFRONT GLOBAL WARMING, AMERICANS MUST FOCUS ON THE FIVE E's: Energy, Economy, Employment, Education and the Environment.

The American Voter Must Demand a Pragmatic Energy & Environmental Policy!

Vote Rock the Vote 2

Think about it: Who will benefit most from America achieving energy independence? No question about it: The everyday, hardworking American. Why? Secure, abundant, stable and affordable energy will result in America, once again, becoming the scientific, engineering and manufacturing center of the World. America’s economy will rebound and return to being the World’s fastest growing economy. Employment opportunities will proliferate but will require skilled workers. If Americans are to take advantage of new employment opportunities, they will require training in a wide variety of trades and professions. This means America’s educational system may require restructuring. By the way, the rest of the World will also benefit from America achieving energy independence with lower energy prices due to the end of America being the World’s major consumer of foreign oil.

Who will lose the most if America achieves energy independence? The list is long and extremely powerful as well as financially capable of undermining America’s efforts for energy independence. America’s environmentalists will do their best to derail America’s struggle for energy independence. Why? They know America’s energy independence will require the utilization of all of America’s fossil fuel resources which will result in damages to the environment. The financial industry  will combat America achieving energy independence since they make money on the current volatility of oil and energy prices. The oil industry will resist Americans working for energy independence since it will cost them billions of dollars in revenues. The oil industry is doing everything it can to get Congress to overturn America’s ban on the export of crude oil. How can America achieve energy independence when the crude oil, crucial for America’s energy independence is being exported? Don’t be surprised if America’s environmentalists join the oil industry in pushing for the export of America’s crude oil. All the exporting of America’s oil will do is line the pockets of a few with the money from the many plus exporting America’s oil will also be selling the future of Americans.

Finally, the ones with the most to lose are the oil producing countries with Saudi Arabia at the top of the list. As America becomes energy independent, the price of oil will drop. Due to the fact that most of the oil exporting countries have budgets which will be totally obliterated by low oil prices, the economic, social and political implications of America’s energy independence is just not acceptable. Needless to say, these countries will do everything in their power to undo America’s efforts to be energy independent.
