Call us  SOS/FAN was published in 2013, after more than a decade of research. When SOS/FAN was first published, the author was told it would be at least 10 years before it 'took off'. If America is to survive global warming, Americans must understand America's energy options plus America's environmental obligations; then cast their votes accordingly. When it comes to America's energy needs, Voters must put aside their political ideologies. Democrats, Republicans and Independents must come together and make sure America is on the path for a strong, stable economy which will provide the resources to successfully combat global warming.

------------------------------------------------ IF AMERICA IS TO SUCCESSFULLY CONFRONT GLOBAL WARMING, AMERICANS MUST FOCUS ON THE FIVE E's: Energy, Economy, Employment, Education and the Environment.

America’s Opportunity for Energy Independence: GONE!

President Obama’s signing of the $1.1 trillion spending bill ends America’s opportunity for energy independence! How? As you may or may not be aware, a rider to the spending bill is another bill, (originally H.R. 702), eliminating America’s ban on the export of crude oil. H.R. 702 removing America’s ban on crude oil exports could […]

What does ‘Energy Security’ mean for Americans?

What does ‘Energy Security’ mean to Americans? This is a question which many Americans have not really thought about but must be answered if a viable energy and environmental plan for America is to be developed. Focusing On Being An American First Makes the Impossible Possible!

AMERICA FIRST!

Americans cannot segregate themselves from other Americans due to race, religion or skin color since none of us had any control on how we entered the World. It’s not important if we were born as Anglo-American, African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic-American, Native-American or Fill-in-the-blank-American. What is important is that for some reason, we are among the World’s fortunate few […]

Americans must require elected leaders to confront the reality of global climate change as well as the fact that […]

What is Energy Independence?

How should American energy independence be defined? The obvious response would be: America producing all the energy it needs. Besides, America producing all the energy it consumes is really is the definition of energy security which should […]

At What Point are Oil Prices Too Low?

America has endured an extended period of unstable, unreliable and overpriced oil. Only Americans in their 60’s and 70’s can recall a time when fuel prices fluctuated very little and the cost of a tank of gas would not decimate a family budget. Surprisingly, Americans may again be able to enjoy stable and affordable energy. But that opportunity […]

Essentially it is the price point which undermines America’s efforts to gain and maintain energy independence. At some point, let’s us $60 […]
